At a Honda motorcycle factory in India, an old Java-based monitoring setup was replaced with a scalable SCADA platform that brings CNCs, PLCs and I/O connections under one roof. Real-time and historical trends, alarm management and automatic shift reports were added, and the architecture was left ready for future expansion.

At a port serving 53 operational berths with gantry cranes, ship unloaders and a wide range of heavy equipment, equipment data was collected on a central platform. An integrated system installed at a water treatment plant in Changde, Hunan Province, evaluates process data together with an AI model and generates recommendations for operators. According to the manufacturer's report, response speed improved by more than 50% and maintenance costs fell by 40%.

The solution, implemented at the Volkhov branch of Apatit JSC, part of the PHOSAGRO group in Russia, centrally archives process data from different DCS and plant systems on IPCONIQ Historian. The data becomes queryable from a single source for production analysis and reporting.

Smart building
The 32nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting was held in Gyeongju, South Korea, from 31 October to 1 November 2025. The convention center's building automation system was renewed with IPCONIQ HMI, bringing HVAC, lighting and energy management together on a single platform. There were no system failures throughout the summit, and measurable energy savings were achieved.
