Smart lighting is more than a motion sensor. ICC Dijital uses cameras as sensors and analyses the footage with artificial intelligence. Across large spaces such as warehouse aisles, car parks and factory floors, it detects the presence of a person or a forklift and lights only the area concerned.
What Makes AI-Powered Lighting Different
Maximum Energy Efficiency
Traditional PIR motion sensors switch lights on needlessly on false triggers — a cat, or a bag blowing in the wind. AI turns the lighting on (or raises it from 20% to 100%) only when it actually sees a person or a vehicle, saving up to 70% of the energy, particularly in large facilities.
Safe, Intelligent Guidance
The AI system understands which way a vehicle or forklift is heading. It lights not only where the vehicle is, but the next aisle or area ahead of it, creating a safer working environment. In an emergency it can light escape routes dynamically.
Ambient Light and Scene Management
The system works alongside daylight sensors (LDR), dimming the luminaires automatically according to the natural light available. Custom lighting profiles can be created for different scenarios such as shift starts, end of working hours or maintenance periods.
Integration and Infrastructure
Our solutions are fully compatible with common lighting control protocols such as DALI, DMX and 0-10V. As part of our AI & IoT ecosystem, the system collects lighting data and reports on energy consumption.
Using the Camera as a Sensor
Do away with the cost of hundreds of PIR sensors. A single IP camera covers hundreds of square metres, detects presence, and triggers the lighting groups through our edge device.
Consumption Reporting
We provide detailed analysis and reports showing which areas were lit and for how long, how much energy was used and how much was saved.
