UP TWL (Twin Lake) is an ultra-compact Single Board Computer (SBC) powered by Intel® Processor N150 (formerly Twin Lake) SoC, designed for Edge IoT applications. With its high-performance 4-core processor and Active Cooler thermal solution, it provides reliable operation in a wider temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Its dimensions of only 85mm x 56mm allow for easy integration into the tightest spaces.
The system has dual-channel (Dual-Channel) 8GB LPDDR5 memory and 64GB eMMC storage capacity. It supports visual workloads with integrated Intel® UHD Graphics and offers one HDMI 1.4b output. There is one 1GbE RJ-45 LAN port and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports for connectivity. Additionally, there are 10-pin USB 2.0 / UART connectors providing flexible interface options with external modules.
UP TWL is equipped with a 40-pin GPIO connector, which is critical for prototyping and sensor integration. System security is ensured by the built-in TPM 2.0 chip. The system power requirement is 12V DC-in, 5A, and supports both AT and ATX power types. Typical power consumption ranges from 30W to 36W.
Supported operating systems include Windows® 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 and Linux (Ubuntu 22.04 LTS/Kernel 5.15, Yocto 4.0). The MTBF duration is 685,218 hours, promising high reliability for long-term operations. It has CE/FCC Class A, RoHS, and REACH certifications.
