UP TWLS Edge is an ultra-thin Edge system powered by Intel® Processor N150 (formerly Twin Lake) SoC, offering Wi-Fi and extended serial port capabilities. Its high-efficiency 4-core processor and fanless design ensure reliable, quiet, and dust-free operation. Its compact dimensions (92mm x 77mm x 38.5mm) allow for easy deployment in tight spaces with DIN Rail or VESA mounting. The product is ideal for Industrial IoT (IIoT) and lightweight Edge AI applications.
The system has 8GB LPDDR5 memory and 64GB eMMC storage capacity. It uses integrated Intel® UHD Graphics for 12th Gen Intel® Processors for graphic workloads. Among the wide I/O options are one 1GbE RJ-45 LAN port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and one HDMI 1.4b video output.
The UP TWLS Edge is equipped with an RS-232/422/485 serial port, critical for industrial communication. Wireless connectivity can be provided through optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules via the M.2 2230 E-key slot. Additionally, there are 8 GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) pins available for sensor and actuator connections. The M.2 slot supports PCIe x1 and USB 2.0 interfaces.
The system has a power requirement of 12V DC-in, 5A and supports both AT and ATX power modes. The typical power consumption is between 30W and 36W.
