uCOM-IMX93 is an advanced SMARC CPU Module featuring NXP i.MX 93 series Dual-Core Arm® Cortex®-A55 and Arm Cortex®-M33 processors. Enhanced with 0.5 TOPs artificial intelligence (AI) performance, this module is designed for smart embedded and IoT applications with low power consumption.
This product offers a speed of 1.7 GHz on the A55 core and 250 MHz on the M33 core. It comes with 2GB Onboard LPDDR4 system memory and 16GB eMMC 5.1 storage (optional 32GB/64GB/128GB). It also supports SDIO 3.0 for external SD Card.
Display is provided via one LVDS 4-Lane output (HDMI and MIPI-DSI are optional upon request). It utilizes NXP integrated 2D Graphics Acceleration. It also includes one MIPI CSI 2 Lane camera interface.
There are two Gigabit Ethernet ports (one TSN supported) for network connectivity. For peripheral connections, there are 4 USB 2.0 Host ports and 1 USB 2.0 OTG port.
Among the extensive communication capabilities are 4 UART serial ports (2-wire and 4-wire) and two CAN 2.0 FD (CAN with Flexible Data-rate) bus ports. Additionally, 8-bit GPIO and SPI/I2C interfaces are available.
This module has an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, providing reliable performance in harsh industrial environments. It consumes a maximum of 13.8W at full load.
As software support, it supports operating systems such as Yocto 5.0 (kernel 6.6.23) and Windows 11 IOT with Ubuntu 22.04 (kernel 6.6.23-LTS-next) upon request.
