Panel21190E CNC Control Panel

Panel21190E is a machine control panel with EtherCAT communication designed by Panelmate for CNC machines with 19-inch screens. Its front panel is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, and the rear cover is made of stainless steel; with dimensions of 427.4 x 173 mm, it fits under 19-inch monitors and panel PCs of the IDD21 and IPC21 series with the same width, creating a single-piece operator station.

The panel connects directly to all control systems using EtherCAT, primarily Beckhoff TwinCAT. It can be added at any point on the line via the IN and OUT RJ45 ports on the back. Since buttons, lamps, and rotary switches are read directly over EtherCAT, no additional I/O module is required; the panel supports up to 98 buttons and 98 LEDs.

The standard layout includes 63 backlit short-stroke buttons, an emergency stop button with 2NC contacts, Power On and Power Off buttons, two digital rotary switches for feed and spindle speed, a 3-position keyed switch, and two USB 2.0 ports on the front. On the rear, there are 12 digital inputs and 12 digital outputs, a DB26 connector for the handwheel (MPG), an encoder input, and an external emergency stop connection.

It is powered by DC 24V and consumes up to 120W. The front panel has an IP54 protection rating, and the rear cover is IP20; it operates between -10°C and 55°C. The button layout, mask color, and symbol labels can be customized according to the project. Versions with Modbus-TCP, Profinet, and TwinCAT ADS communication are available upon request.
