The MI990 Mini-ITX motherboard is based on Intel®'s new 6th Generation Intel® Core™ processor family (codename Skylake) produced using a 14nm manufacturing process. It offers accelerated processing performance and superior graphics capability to run three independent displays simultaneously with sharp, clear visuals without a separate graphics card. Designed for high-end applications in industrial automation, kiosks, digital signage, medical, and gaming markets, it features extraordinary specifications such as support for up to 32 GB of fast DDR4 DRAM RAM (memory) in two SO-DIMM sockets.
The MI990 integrates the Intel® CM236/HM170 chipset to accommodate and deliver performance for fast connections, including flexible Expansion with 4x USB 2.0, 6x USB 3.0, 6x Serial Ports, 2x/4x SATA III, and 1x PCI E (x).
The MI990VF and MI990EF series include four MI990 models supporting Intel® CM236 and HM170 chipsets, respectively. The list of four integrated processors includes Intel® Xeon E3-1505M v5, Intel® Core i7-6820EQ, Intel® Core i5-6440EQ, and Intel® Core i3-6100E.
