The MB990 ATX motherboard is Intel®'s latest 7th/6th generation motherboard. It supports 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ processors. The 6th and 7th Generation Intel® Core™, Pentium, or Celeron processors have an LGA1151 socket based on the "Skylake-S" microarchitecture. The motherboard supports four DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 64 GB of RAM, four USB 2.0 ports, ten USB 3.0 ports, six COM ports, and six SATA III ports, along with graphics interfaces for DVI-D, HDMI, and DisplayPort displays.
The MB990, equipped with a wide range of Expansion options including PCIe (x16), PCIe (x8), PCIe (x4), PCIe (x1), Mini-PCIe, and three PCI slots, is most suitable for IoT, industrial, digital signage, medical, retail, and factory automation applications.
