IB980 PICMG 1.3 Full-Size CPU card uses the Intel® Q87 chipset to support 4th Generation Intel® Core™ processors. The IB980 platform aims to meet the high-performance requirements of demanding applications such as medical imaging, industrial automation, network security, gaming, and digital signage.
Integrated Intel® HD Graphics, found in Intel® 4th Generation Core™ processors manufactured with industry-leading 22 nm process technology and 3D Tri-Gate transistors, are designed to deliver superior gaming experiences and enhanced visual experiences without the cost of discrete graphics.
Like all new IBASE boards and systems, the IB980 supports our iSMART green technology to provide smart power saving and environmental performance with power on/off timing and power sustain functions. The IB980 CPU board also provides secure data encryption.
