The highly flexible FWA9500 network computing device supports Intel® Skylake-SP Xeon® processors for today's changing network environments. The 2U rack system features the Intel® C624 chipset with dual LGA3647 CPU sockets and supports up to 512 GB of RDIMM memory in 16x DDR4-2666 sockets. It can be equipped with two Intel® I210-AT Gigabit Ethernet controllers and 8x IBN (IBASE proprietary network interface) cards to host a maximum of 66 GbE Ports with configurable NIC module slots.

The FWA9500 network device becomes an ideal workforce for enterprise workloads looking to manage large amounts of data by offering robust performance and reliability levels in enterprise-grade network security, firewall, VPN, UTM, WAN, and network management applications.

The unit utilized a modular approach to design a network device with high expandability and scalability functionality. This allows customers to quickly customize and integrate by combining and merging modules to meet their optimal requirements.

FWA9500 comes with I/O connections and Expansion slots such as a PCIe x8 slot, M.2 (M key), Mini-PCIe, two USB 2.0, and an RJ45 serial console with an LCM display for ease of use. LAN bypass and IBASE IDN100 IPMI 2.0 module are optional features.
