The FWA8600 1U rack-type network security device is based on the scalable Intel® Xeon® Processor D-2100 series and 25x GbE ports. This highly scalable system is designed to manage data-centric workloads and deliver strong performance levels in enterprise network security, Unified Threat Management, and WAN optimization applications.
The FWA8600 supports up to 128 GB RDIMM with four DDR4-2666 DIMM sockets and an Intel® I210-AT Ethernet controller. The device connects to the network with three IBN cards, each with 8x GbE Ports, and an IBN-P401Q card for a maximum of 25GbE Ports.
FWA8600 includes the IBASE IDN100 module for Smart Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0, allowing users to manage and monitor systems remotely even without an operating system. It is an ideal platform for cloud computing and data centers.
