The FWA8208 network device is designed for various network applications that require high computing performance and large bandwidth. In a 1U Rackmount chassis, it features Intel® 82579LM and Intel® 82583 network controllers to support up to eight Gigabit LAN Ports.
Based on the Intel® C216 chipset, the FWA8208 supports 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 and Intel® Xeon® processors and Intel® Active Management Technology. Depending on the type of processor used, it supports four DDR3 RAM (memory) slots with or without ECC support.
This powerful network system offers high performance, reliability, and functionality. The LAN bypass functionality, required in some applications, can be configured in the BIOS. Three smart fans ensure reliable system operation and less fan noise. Rich I/O Expansion.
