BOXER-8640AI is a fanless embedded box computer designed for edge artificial intelligence (AI@Edge) applications powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ processor. The Ampere Architecture of the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ houses 1792 CUDA® and 56 Tensor cores, providing unique inferencing performance of up to 200 TOPS, enabling high-density AI processing in multiple video streams.
AAEON's expertly designed hardware supports the latest NVIDIA JetPack™ SDK, expanding the potential of applications. This allows developers to fully leverage world-class AI acceleration, multimedia, graphics, and computer vision tools. This model has an impressive operating temperature range of -20°C ~ 55°C, suitable for harsh environments.
The device's I/O structure is meticulously configured to maximize the AI performance of the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™. It offers a comprehensive interface with four PoE LAN ports (802.3af, Max. 60W), four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (2x Type-A, 2x Type-C), one HDMI output, and RS-232/422/485 serial port.
BOXER-8640AI offers extensive and expandable storage options: In addition to the built-in 64GB eMMC, there is a MicroSD Card slot, one 2.5” SATA Drive Slot, and one M.2 2280 M-Key slot for NVMe storage. There is also one M.2 2230 E-Key slot for wireless connectivity (WiFi/BT).
This variant is equipped with 32GB LPDDR5 System Memory and an 8-core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE CPU and supports the NVIDIA JetPack™ 5.1.1 operating system.
