FWS-7821 is a powerful 1U Rackmount network device based on the Intel® C236 chipset, designed for network security and management applications. With support for 6th and 7th Generation Intel® Core™ and Xeon® processors, it provides the high processing power and flexibility necessary to manage heavy data traffic.
The device is equipped with four 288-pin DIMM slots that support up to 64 GB DDR4 1600/1866/2133/2400 MHz UDIMM/ECC memory. This large memory capacity provides an ideal infrastructure for network virtualization and high-bandwidth demanding tasks.
The product offers rich options for network connectivity, featuring a total of 8 LAN ports, including 6 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports managed by the Intel® i210 controller and 2 SFP Gigabit Ethernet ports. Additionally, it includes 2 pairs of LAN Bypass functions to enhance reliability against network interruptions.
Internally allows for the installation of 2 x 2.5 inch SATA HDDs or 1 x 3.5 inch SATA HDD for storage needs. Additionally, there is one CFast slot (or optional mSATA) available for operating system or cache usage.
Expandable features include two PCIe [x8] slots, one Mini-Card slot, and one NIM (Network Interface Module) slot. These slots allow for the integration of additional network cards or specialized hardware modules into the device.
